Business backup with guaranteed recovery
Automated backups with 3-2-1 rule, flexible retention, and disaster recovery tested monthly. Your data always recoverable, no matter what happens.
— THE SERVICE
The insurance we hope never to use — but test every month
The question isn't whether your business will lose data someday. The question is when, how much, and whether you'll be able to recover it. Ransomware, hardware failure, human error, theft, natural disaster — the causes vary, but the result is always the same: critical information lost.
Our business backup service implements the 3-2-1 rule as a minimum: 3 copies of your data, on 2 different media, with 1 copy offsite (typically AWS/Azure cloud). Backups run automatically per the defined schedule — daily for critical data, weekly for heavy files, monthly for long-term retention.
Unlike a "manual backup" or an external drive no one checks, our backups are monitored continuously — if a copy fails, our team knows within minutes and resolves it before the retention chain breaks. Every month we perform a DR (Disaster Recovery) test by restoring real data to verify recovery works.
We cover backup of: user files (NAS, OneDrive, Google Drive), databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), full virtual servers (VMware, Hyper-V), Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), and critical endpoints (executive laptops). For regulated sectors, we also offer long retention (7+ years) with Colombia Law 1581 compliance.
When the moment to recover arrives — and it always does — your business doesn't panic. We know exactly which backup to use, how long restoration will take (documented RTO), and how much information was lost in the worst case (documented RPO). In 8 hours or less, you're operating again.
— PROCESS
How business backup works
- 01
Inventory and prioritization
We map what data your business has, where it lives, what's critical vs nice-to-have. We define target RTO/RPO per system.
- 02
Design and deployment
We configure the backup solution (Veeam, Acronis, Datto per case), connect to on-prem and cloud storage, define schedules, test the first full restoration.
- 03
Monitored operations
Backups run automatically. Continuous monitoring of success/failure. Immediate alerts if anything fails. We apply patches and continuous improvements.
- 04
Monthly DR test + report
Each month we restore a real system to verify integrity. Executive report with success rate, measured recovery time, space used, recommendations.
— FAQ
Frequently asked questions about business backup
How much does business backup cost?
Depends on data volume, systems count, retention required, and target RTO. For an SMB with ~500 GB on NAS + M365, we quote exactly after a no-cost diagnostic.
How long does recovery take after a disaster?
RTO varies by system. Individual files: minutes. Database: 1-4 hours. Full virtual server: 2-8 hours. Mass restoration (entire office): 8-24 hours. Documented in contract, tested monthly.
Do you back up Microsoft 365?
Yes — one of our most common add-ons. Microsoft does NOT guarantee long-term retention by default (~30 days). Our M365 backup covers Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams with 1, 3, 5, or 7+ year retention.
What about backups if we're hit by ransomware?
We use immutable backups (can't be encrypted or deleted from the compromised network). Modern ransomware seeks and destroys connected backups — ours are logically air-gapped or in cloud with WORM policies. They survive the attack.
Can you test the backup before something bad happens?
Yes — monthly, as standard. We restore a real system (rotating which) to a test environment, verify integrity, measure recovery time, report. If something doesn't work, we fix it before the next cycle.
